Background Check Requirements for Volunteers
Many volunteer opportunities, particularly those that involve interaction with Bethanna children, require completion of a background check. Before you are approved as a Bethanna volunteer, you will need to agree to provide, but not limited to, the following information:
Current ChildLine, Pennsylvania Criminal History background checks, and other child protective services as permitted by state law (There is a $10 charge to have a background check completed online paid by the volunteer).
Three or more business, professional or personal references;
Personal interview;
Pre-service training.
