Donate In-Kind Products and Gifts

Bethanna is always in need of new clothing, hygiene products, and other items for children in our care. If you or your employer wishes to donate a valuable product or service to Bethanna, please follow the steps below:

  • Due to a lack of storage space and changing programmatic needs, we may not be able to accept all donated items. Donations may also be declined if used items are in poor condition, such as damages toys, games and puzzles with missing pieces, or torn books.

  • Only clothing, stuffed animals, and linens in new condition are accepted.

  • A limited quantity of major appliances, furniture and other oversized items are accepted. The expense of personnel to sort, package and transport these donations is typically greater than the value of the donation.

  • It is our policy not to accept any toy weapons or toys that include weapons, such as certain action figures and military toys.

  • Donations of used CPUs, monitors, printers and other related electronic components that are no more than two years old.

After we have received your in-kind donation, a Bethanna representative will sign a receipt form. Retain this receipt for your records. On behalf of the children, adolescents and families of Bethanna, thank you! We are sincerely grateful for your support.

The receipt will affirm that no goods or services were provided by Bethanna to the donor in exchange for this contribution. All goods and services donated to Bethanna are tax deductible in accordance with IRS regulations. Please note: The donor is responsible for providing an accurate valuation of any non-cash gift of goods or services. IRS regulations prohibit Bethanna from providing a value for your donated items or service. Bethanna is a tax-exempt 501 (c) (3) organization, federal and state tax-exemption ID number: 23-1649667.
