3RD ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF OUTING ON JUNE 14 TO BENEFIT BETHANNAGMG Insurance and First Federal of Bucks County are sponsors of an annual fundraising event that serves children and families in crisis
Southampton, PA (April 2007) – Golfers and sponsors are invited to participate in Bethanna’s 3rd Annual Charity Golf Outing on Thursday, June 14 at Makefield Highlands Golf Club in Yardley, Pa. The Golf Outing will benefit the foster care programs, adoption services, in-home services, and outpatient mental health clinic services provided by Bethanna, a nonprofit agency in Southampton, Pa. GMG Insurance in Newtown, Pa. and First Federal of Bucks County are the major sponsors for this fundraising event.
Last year, Bethanna’s Golf Outing attracted more than 100 golfers and raised $14,000. Since 2005, over $30,000 has been raised by this charity golf outing which is sponsored by First Federal of Bucks County and GMG Insurance. Team Toyota Langhorne, Pa. and Ely Pork Products of Washington Crossing, Pa., are among the activity sponsors. Proceeds from this annual event support the parenting education program, family visitation program, adoption and foster parent recruiting events, teenage mentoring program, therapeutic summer camp and other programs and services that Bethanna offers.
Registration starts at 11:00 a.m.; shotgun start begins at 1:00 p.m. In addition to a round of golf, this event includes a hole-in-one contest, luncheon, silent auction, and a pig and chicken roast. The winner of the hole-in-one contest will receive a car provided by Team Toyota in Langhorne, Pa.
